this plant should have shown it's sex by now, but it seems like every "hair" turns into another branch. it dosent seem to do anything but grow taller and wider. also my PH is an 8 and it needs more acid to be at 6.5 any easy qays to get my PH right again?

Hey man, I have the same tester you have, and no matter what i do it always reads 8 in my soil. The water I use has a ph of around 6. Try to find you some d lime and add about a tablespoon to your water. I use a teaspoon of vinegar to get my water down. I honestly think the tester we have is pure crap.

yes it does. it's been real hot and humid where i am right now so i just moved it outside. it smells like a skunk but nothing too powerful yet. it's an unknown strain it was just an experiment. and for fun before i start doing this for real. but my soil reader was perfect on 6.5 yesterday. so i don't know. it may indeed be crap. it was only 10 bucks

Hello mate :-)

Few things - I started with one of those tools for reading ph and they are next to useless. Wasn't confident it was accurate so got some ph test liquid and found it measured ph8 water as ph7 - so it was way off.

You say the plant hasn't started flowering yet, but it appears that you are growing outside, so it wont start flowering until the days start to draw in towards autumn (or fall if you're American, doesn't say in your sig). If you're growing indoors, and have been on 12:12 for longer than 3 weeks then id say there may be something wrong with the genetics of your plant. Where did the seeds come from?

Also looks like you're overwatering (as is evidenced by the drooping leaves). How often do you water? Does the pot have good drainage?

Apart from that you're doing well. The plant is big and healthy looking apart from the slightly droopy leaves (which is no biggie). If its a female you should be looking at a pretty large crop from her when she does flower. :peace:

How old is it. The pre-flower stage lasts from about week 6-8. If you miss this window, you'll have to wait for 12/12. In America that's around the middle of August.
I agree with Bigby, way over-watered.

I'm just gonna Leave it outside. I water it every 2 days or so cause its been really hot and haven't had any rain. I am
In America and on the east coast. I could move her back inside but it will stink up my house haha. Thanks for the help guys.

Btw I do think that that tester is shit, but it's better than nothing at all

Good to hear they smell good :-)

And I take your point about the tester, but id have to disagree about it being better than nothing. You could end up correcting your ph to something completely unsuitable simply because the item you bought in good faith wasnt made or calibrated properly. Try and get hold of some ph liquid, most gardening stores or aquarium/pet stores will stock it. Or you can find it online for a couple of bucks - will repay you 10 fold in the long run. :peace:

I hear you, I'm looking into liquid tests right now. Do pool ph testers work? Stupid question but I wasn't sure
