plant leaves are curling in

how it going? not so good here im not sure if im having serious issues because i cant find any pictures that look similar to the issue im having. i havent watered in 4 days. it is soil grown using Miracle Grow Organic Potting Mix(i know bad choice) and have used Rainbow Mix nutes on it(veg) at a quarter strength. i did get some fungal nats(currently erradicating using fly tape) so i know to never use MG again! i orignally thought it was due to a magnesium issue so i leaf fed some epsom salt but did not see a really bid difference. they are going into week 4 of veg monday. I use 400watt HPS that is about 36inches above them. they are also currently in 2gal pots. i have also posted pics. Thanks for the help all!

i do use tap water but i use a water conditioner and let sit for 24-48 hours. i have also recently purchased distilled water but have not used it yet because i feel like the soil is over watered... (fungal nats!!!)

yea my plants love distilled water i make sure to go to the store every time and spend the 3 bucks.

plants love to breath just as much as they love to drink so make sure your soil gets really dry before waterings.

you could easily be over watering :peace:

so what do you think is causing the leaves to curl in like that?

i think its because they just need to get on a good water schedule. i think in a week it will be fine

really? i thought that heat stress made the leaves yellow almost like they were burning?
I have the same thing going on with one of mine right now. A couple people said heat stress was the reason.
I just raised the light a little so we'll see what happens.

It more than likely is the ph in the soil. Go to a hardware store like ace & get a soil ph test kit. Also there is no way those plants are rootbound in a 2 gallon container. You can use miracle grow soil but add pulverized lime @ 2 Tablespoons per gallon for a few waterings & test your ph agaign. It has been my findings that miracle grow soil is usally around 5.5-6 but miracle grow should be brought up to about 7.0.
