Plant length conundrum

Hi guys,

It's my 1st grow and I have 2 plants on the go. I've been in flowering for 1 week now but have a slight problem.

I have 2 different strains growing, one is Super Skunk and the other is Himalayan Gold. My issue is that even though they were planted at the same time, the Super Skunk is twice the size of the Himalayan.

I don't wanna prune the Skunk as it's in flowering now and I know most of the plants work will go into budding rather than stalk and leaf growth, and I'm scared it will struggle to deal with a solid pruning.

So basically the light will now have to be raised for the Skunk plant but will be too high for the Himalyan given that it's only half the size. Is there anything I could try in order to rectify this issue?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Why dont you place something underneath the smaller pot to raise it 'manually' and keep adding/subtracting height as needed.

good idea i do that myself. also you could start tieing and training the skunk to be more horizontal. you will see that light will cover more of the skunk and you will start to see more growth from the length of the plant now that its tied about 90 degrees over.

That's why I keep a steady supply of old phone books lying around.....

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I can't put anything underneath the pots as its an ebb and flow system so there are a whole load of roots coming out the bottom of the pots that need to sit in the tray when it floods. I'm interested in the tying option though. Does anyone have any links to any decent tying threads on here? Just need a basic idea of how to go about it.

Thanks for your advice guys.
