Is a 50w Philips Agro Plant Light any good? It is a
Philips Specialty Incandescent and halogen bulb and it
has a blue tint on it. Outputs 2400 lumens.

Get a 75w CFL if you have a small space, or some CFL's .
About 4000 lumen per square foot should be somewhat fine. Better yet go for 6000 lumen per square foot.

If the plant doesnt have a minimum of 3000 lumen/sq ft it will start stretching towards the light and will not yield anything.
The more lumen the better yield. Also try researching some more before posting :). It wastes less of our time and also yours.
