Why in the hell would anyone in the right minds give a plant 36 HOURS of DARKNESS before turning on light cycle?

That is just stupid.

What idiot would think putting your plant into darkness for 36 hours would be worth speeding up the flowering process by what? a day or a few hours?
It is just a dumb idea.
Man there is a shit ton of bad advice out there and he followed it. No need to beat him down over and call him an idiot. I'm sure you have followed some bad advice in your time. IMO of course don't do that again. If the leaves are crispy then your out of luck. But Also before you just toss it like I read above fill up a 5 gal bucket of water and put your plant in it. Just the bottom half. Let the water come through the bottom so it gets a good watering. If anything just use this as an experiment. See how it goes. Good luck.

Yeah old wives tail to dark em for a day and a half then to go to 12/12 to boost the start of flowering.

Think about it, it's a natural plant, in the wild the days gradually get shorter. You can imitatively switch to a 12/12 but gradually changing smooths the process and avoids stress.

Your girl looks stressed and THIRSTY! Try re vegging to save her.

We all screw up at some point...it's part of the learning process. It just sucks when people give advice not knowing what the fuck is up. This is why it's sometimes best to start out with a book or video by a reputable playa such as Jorge Cervantes...takes the guessing out of the process.
