Plant problem

I came home from work to this tonight. I cant find anything similar to it in the "plant saver" book. Closest would be magnesium deficiancy or nute burn. I havent started nutes yet so i can rule that out. This is the "runt" of the litter. All other plants look fine. This is a TGA Dairy Queen growing in promix HP. Ive been using PHd filtered tap water. I did move all plants a little closer to my CFLs but i still have 2.5 inches between them and they are only 23w bulbs. Temp is around 79 +-

The leaves point upwards at night and flatten after lights come on. Is it possible the leaves touched the bulb?

Too young for nutes. They look very wet, seedlings like moist soil but not wet, they hate it wet. The new leaves look good so just dry the soil before watering again and they should be fine.

I dont know about the burn. I would bet it is NOT a deficiency that young.

What are you using to pH your water? What are you pHing it to?

Why are you filtering your tap water? Do you know the ppms?

My ph is 6.0
My ppm is over 500 one if the reasons I filter.
I turned off my humidifier even tho I'm under 50% and that helped with the drooping

Wonder what it was from? It doesnt seem to be spreading. I added a 2700 and 5000k bulb to my cabinet. See what that will do overall. Tomorrow is a water day. Ive been watering every 3 or 4 days.

i agree with "soil to wet". when my seedlings are that young i use a mist bottle to keep the soil damp but not wet. soil that is too wet is the main problem with seedling demise. GL

I agree that they are likely too wet. You shouldn't water by the number of days, use the weight of the pot instead. I sometimes let my solocups get so light it almost feels like there is nothing in them. The plants do great, it actually helps them develop a larger root system as they have to "search" for water. Good Luck.

Then that is a tough one. As others have said it is likely not a deficiency when they are that young. Could be they just slowed down after getting a thorough watering (temporarily oxygen deprived roots). If it were me I would take the less is more approach and see if they perk up after drying out in the next day or so. I guess it could be magnesium. Some epsom or calmag would be pretty safe to add at a mild dose if they don't improve. Hope they snap out of it quickly.

Got a ph meter for my soil today. It's at 6.6. I also trimmed off the browning leaves. Someone suggested I do it so they will not waste energy trying to heal. I was told those leaves will fall off anyhow. Figured I'd give it a shot.
