so im about in my 8th week floweringand im not sure whuts going on... bout a week ago i noticed my ones leaves kinda turning a slight brownish color... i checked ph levels and they were way low.. i got the ph back up and the plant seemed to be doing better..(at least didnt worsen) so a few days later i decided to go ahead and flush em.. the next morning my stalks were looking like they were trying to lay down.. is this typical after flushing??? i staked em up and have em all supported right now.. it seems as if the bud growth has stopped.. only thing i could think is maybe the rootmass is getting to big.. how shitty would the buds be if i had to chop them soon instead of waiting a few weeks?? will it make it horrible? i imagine it would still be better then sum reggo's correct??

thanks for all ur help.. im really tripping over all this.. think once this crop is done im switching from ebb n flow to 5 gallon dwc buckets.. seems alot easier and simpler to care for em... thanks for any info that was given..

Got any pictures? At 8 weeks, some of my buds are trying to lay down too but thats because my buds are getting too heavy for the stalk. This happens especially after watering/fertilizing as the buds build up more weight.

Plants need flushing more than once unless you are growing in a aquamist system but ven then i would stillflush them.it is ammazeing omn how many folk don't lush there plants during the grow just at the very end, this is why you all have problems.i flush at least 3 times during veg and maybe 5 includeing the last flush during flowering.cannabis plants have a tendecy to get salt build up so this needs to be kepy in check you fflush like i say and you will not have no problems growing at all.

i know pics would help u pinpoint the problem... im just kinda asking if these problems are typical or not... ie - low ph causing to brown leaves..?? flushing leading to droopin stalks...?? if i were to harvest now approximately 2 weeks early, how bad would it kill my thc..?? ild imagine if i cut early it would still be pretty good (mango kush) but not at its highest thc content..correct? early harvested kush should be better then all commercial garbage right? sorry if my questions are out there... but if sum1 wit experience could answer em for me itld put my mind at ease!!! thanks RIU

thats normal for the leaves to turn and die. this is part of the flowercycle. it just pullig all from the leaves and going to your buds. 8 weeks i would start flushing for a week or so . u got any pics. would love to see what u got going on there.

mygirl always comin thru with an answer... haha +rep bro.. heres sum recent pics...

and i know browning and leaves dying is normal.... but im talking like alot of brown appearing within 2 days and seems as if bud production stopped on that plant.... but not on the other thats whuts odd... i just had to ghetto stake everything up as they should be good to go in 2 weeks..

hey my girl... sorry if its a rediculous question.. but any way u could answer those few questions from my 2nd post on this thread...

heres pics...
1-setup
2-group shot(u can see the rite one isnt healthy)
3-bad plant top cola
4-good plant top cola
5-revivoir n fill (possibly too small)

do they look like this.its hard to tell with the pics. from what i can see they do look nice.
Phosphorus (P)
Phosphorus is a component of certain enzymes and proteins, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), ribonucleic acids (RNA), deoxyribonucleic acids (DNA) and phytin. ATP is involved in various energy transfer reactions, and RNA and DNA are components of genetic information.

Phosphorus (P) deficiency:
Figure 11 is severe phosphorus (P) deficiency during flowering. Fan leaves are dark green or red/purple, and may turn yellow. Leaves may curl under, go brown and die. Small-formed buds are another main symptom.
Phosphorus deficiencies exhibit slow growing, weak and stunted plants with dark green or purple pigmentation in older leaves and stems.
Some deficiency during flowering is normal, but too much shouldn't be tolerated. Red petioles and stems are a normal, genetic characteristic for many varieties, plus it can also be a co-symptom of N, K, and Mg-deficiencies, so red stems are not a foolproof sign of P-deficiency. Too much P can lead to iron deficiency.
Purpling: accumulation of anthocyanin pigments; causes an overall dark green color with a purple, red, or blue tint, and is the common sign of phosphate deficiency. Some plant species and varieties respond to phosphate deficiency by yellowing instead of purpling. Purpling is natural to some healthy ornamentals.

Figure 11

Figure 12 shows Phosphorus (P) deficiency during vegatative growth. Many people mistaken this for a fungus, but look for the damage to occur near the end of leave, and leaves the color dull greyish with a very brittle texture.

Phosphorus (P) Toxicity:
This condition is rare and usually buffered by pH limitations. Excess phosphorus can interfere with the availability and stability of copper and zinc.

Potassium (K)
Potassium is involved in maintaining the water status of the plant and the
tugor pressure of it's cells and the opening and closing of the stomata. Potassium is required in the accumulation and translocation of carbohydrates. Lack of potassium will reduce yield and quality.
Potassium deficiency:
Older leaves are initially chlorotic but soon develop dark necrotic lesions
(dead tissue). First apparent on the tips and margins of the leaves. Stem and branches may become weak and easily broken, the plant may also stretch. The plant will become susceptible to disease and toxicity. In addition to appearing to look like iron deficiency, the tips of the leaves curl and the edges burn and die.
Potassium - Too much sodium (Na) displaces K, causing a K deficiency. Sources of high salinity are: baking soda (sodium bicarbonate "pH-up"), too much manure, and the use of water-softening filters (which should not be used). If the problem is Na, flush the soil. K can get locked up from too much Ca or ammonium nitrogen, and possibly cold weather.

a lil bit.. but not exactly... i would think if it was a P problem that the other plant would have the ame problems.. as there the same strain.. same lights temp humidity nutes watering schedule resivoir same flood tank... just noticed that it said it can be buffered by ph limitations... im guessing thats whut it may have been.. just odd the other plant didnt get it as well...

going to get a trich scope in a few hours.. been flushing for 2 days... if they look really near to harvest imma just keep flushing a few more days... if they still got a while to go imma add sum more nutes n give it another 2 weeks... then flush for a few more days then kill the water.. and go 48 hrs of darkness
