Plant producing new white pistils at harvest

This is a Fast strain supposed to have 7 weeks of flowering time. This is 7 weeks and 6 days.

A LOT of white pistils forming all over the plant, the pics don't make it justice. I was planning on harvesting this Friday, should I let it flower more?

Definitely let it go longer. I'd say it has an easy 2-3 weeks left minimum. You'll thank yourself when the final swell comes.

I got impatient last year with some Durban poison landrace and pulled after 17 weeks. Would have had another 3-5 weeks left, and I'm spewing I didn't let it go. If I'd already waited 17 weeks, what was another 4.

It didn't turn out too well lol. Dried very airy and sparse. So much regret over my lack of patience. It looked great on the plant though, and it was an eye opener as to how much immature head shrinks when you don't let them swell or retract.

I'd still consider 8-9 weeks a decent turnaround for flower. I ignore breeder schedules. It just leaves me depressed when I add 14 days to it and its just entering the ballpark of possible lol. If no one gave me a ballpark to add too I wouldn't have cared lol.

Okay I will wait 2 more weeks. I'm monitoring the trichomes with the microscope and it still has time.

Another question: I noticed some slight salt buildup, so I got a bottle of florakleen and flushed it. 7 gallon pot, 2 gallons with a high dose of product, 10ml per gallon. No more salt buildup. I was planning on harvesting this Friday so I thought that would be my final watering.

So if I continue for 2 more weeks, should I hop back on the nutes OR just plain water until the end?

It looks a bit starved …. Feed them and run them til done ( not by calendar )

Tip pistils are from intense light at bud apex.

I'd raise your light a bit for the last couple of weeks.

You're right, I'm aware of the light issue. Unfortunately it's a closet grow, I don't have more vertical space. I've seen plants under intense light just continuing creating clusters on top of clusters of bud and not stopping, that confuses me too.

Yeah definitely light intensity is to much. Can you rotate your plants at all? Or zip tie your light directly to the ceiling somehow? like no hangers....Not sure what your feed is like, but heavy feeding this far along could also play a role here.

No space to move it at this point. Nutes at around 500 ppm.

I hope having flushed it this late into flower will not affect the plant negatively. I fed nutes again today. I was reading about too much light, it says they continue building clusters and new pistils but it's normal bud that is smokable so I don't know
