Plant sex

So I put my first grow into flowering 9 days ago and only the autoflowering has shown sex. I bought all feminized seeds but my other plants havent shown pistols. Is it normal to take this long?

It depends on the strain and your light conditions. If there is any light leaks it will slow down the flowering process and put stress on the plant. Some say it will make them Hermie

could take up to two weeks maybe longer ....I think it depends on the plants maturity before you flip to flower......often mature plants will show preflowers while vegging. patience.

Some strains take longer to show sex than others some take up to 3-4 weeks, just be patent they will show soon.

so you got your auto on a 12/12 cycle or are your other plants in veg and your waiting for preflowers 12/12 light will lessen the yields from an auto

thanks klonerone and to zippy the autoflowering is just running the same light cycles as the others.

were the plants mature before you flipped to flowering? if not then no, this isnt that abnormal, your plant is not ready to flower and has to force itself to become mature still. might be 2 weeks or so depending on how close to mature and how large they were when you changed it. if your going to use 12/12 why get an autoflower though? was it a freebie seed they threw in?

I flipped them after 4 1/2 weeks they were at about 12-15 inches. The auto was a freebie afghan kush ryder.

and even though they are same strain, each plant still has a mind of it's own and will show you when it is ready. Good luck to you.

Patience is the key to your problem my friend only fools rush in,your plant will walk you through the process just pay attention to what she tells you and keep asking ?'s soon you will have a big Smile on your face trust me on this one.
