Plant started producing single leaves?

I was just wondering what might cause this. The plant in question was growing fine until I used nutrients, then it started producing single leaves instead of fans. The plant is about 10 inches high and of unknown strain(first time growing). I have been growing them outside and have not used nutrients until about a week ago. Thanks in advance.

if its the only one in the bunch, its inferior genetics. Could be stress related and turn hermi, may just be a mutated female. Have to flower them out to know for sure

Hey bro... I have no idea what the deal is with your plants, but I have heard of single leaves before...

I heard people get them when they have a plant they flowered, and then they re-veg the plant. Sometimes the leaves will come out with 1 petal (or whatever you call it) for a couple weeks, then go back to normal.

I wouldn't worry about it too much... give it a couple days and see if leaves start growing normal, my guess is they will (but that's just a guess).

Did you burn the plant with too many nutes? Are the tips and edges of the leaves cupping or curling up?

I'm sure that doesn't help you, but thought I would add my 2 cents (even if they are worthless).

Idk I only got 3 plants but its my best one. To be honest I pretty much got the seeds, germinated them, then kept transferring them to bigger pots until finally putting em in the ground. My other two seem to have stopped growing at about 7 inches and I was hoping the nutrients would fix that but once again idk. None of the plants have curling leaves but the two smaller ones have some yellowing leaves that have brown spots on them if you know what that is.

Yea this seems like nute burn what kind of nute's are you using btw?

Sorry for sounding stupid, but I don't do soil and have never grown from seeds, haha. My guess is that they are stressed out from being transplanted so many times. The yellow and spots sounds like nutrient deficiences... check out the "Marijuana Plant Problems" section on the main RIU page... there are 'stickied' threads at the top of the plant problems section... it should tell you enough to guess at the problem, after all you can see them and we can't. And just becuase a plant has a nute deficiency doesn't necessarily mean it needs more nutes... it might be a pH lockout where it can not uptake the nutes it has available to it. The plant problem section will tell you all about it.

Just try and get them green and happy looking... they will end up growing and doing their thing. They are amazing plants.
