So my plant is about a week old cant remember to be exact lol , my question is that one of my plants leaves are folded together i think it was caused by when i removed the stuck seed shell and accidently ripped of the fan leaves in the process. Will the plant fix it self? , as well the plant stems seems to be a little to long is that bad or good?.

what kind of light are you using? is that an incandecent?

you need to get a couple of cfls, get them close; your babies are stretching, hence the long stems.

when you transplant, just bury the stem up to the cotyledons (bean leaves) and it's all good.

as for the ripped one, time will tell.

the seed shell falls off on its own you cant rush or you'll f*ck up your grow and they are stretching that looks like the wrong kind of light buy a blue spectrum cfl for veg

tekken you have some problems here. The plant is still alive, despite the fact that you ripped it apart, and then you put it in an oven to bake. What kind of light is that son. You need some thing better than that light or you are going to kill those plants. Read some journals of cfl grows. Streched plants can be propped up, I used skewers and twist ties. VV

kill that light. get some CFL's or put them outside. bury them up to the first set of leaves before they fall over. the one you ripped is folded in half because it is doing everything it can to get to more light. it is "diving" skyward.

re-pot burying up to the first leaves
change your lighting
they will be much happier.
hope this helps.

The problem with that light, to start with is the heat it gives off verses useable lumens, and its the wrong spectrum for strong plant growth, even if it came marked as a grow light. Get a cfl.
