plant wobbling

I potted my plants up 2 weeks ago they have been switched to 12'12 3 days.where I have placed the root ball out of a 10 litre into 20 litre the roots have spread down the pot and not spread out up top so the plant is wobbling in the hole I hope this makes sense lol is this a problem will they spread out more up top ?

You can fix this easy by adding an inch or two medium to the top of the container to shore up the transplant. Good luck.

The plant started leaning to one side as if it had anchord one side not the other.so if I pulled it back straight you could see the top soil move back so what I done is pulled it straight and tide the string to the the bucket. so hopefully roots will grow up top now to stabilise it more does this make sense

Also perlite is good to top dress and stabilize, thus make a horrible life for those repulsive twits call soil gnats...
