do not introduce fertilizers to new borns it will burn them. This includes "Hot" soils. Use seed starting dirt and absolutely no fertilizers for say 3 weeks. As for water I use rain water. It is devoid of minerals and it falls right out of the sky on my lovelies

Another thing that I have read about and am trying to get an answer to is the issue of being able to accurately assess the relative levels of the different nutrients. I have seen listed the existence of a measuring device called a CF meter which measures conductivity and scales that to a particulate matter concentration. However, that still does not tell the grower how much of that is nitrate or calcium, etc.

Has anyone found a good solution to that?

The first plants have already been harvested. Those are the ones that produced so little that I was prompted to create this thread, just to get some feedback on what could potentially have been the problem(s).

There are a few plants almost ready to pull. I will get some pictures of those.

if you want big yeild and get the best out of your plants i will give you an easy way
just let me know

and i do use a ph meter in soil and an ec meter,
it does improve my yeild and makes it easy for you to follow and get good results

I am all for that. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. The first go-around was pretty abysmal.

Another question that has occurred to me is the fundamental difference between a CF and EC meter. They both seem to measure the ionic content in the water.

this chart will you an ideal but never really looked into it before

i us a ec truncheon and find 1.3 seems best for my plants as 1.5 tend to get nute burn

i keep things as simple as i can just use bio buzz grow and bloom,Epson salt


i don't flush my plants till the end, a week before harvest

i do not move the plants in flower
just lift the front pots to see if they need watering

get your room set out the best you can before you start growing
