Planting early=faster flower?

Just a though, after this season's outcome where I have an unknown sativa, which went in the ground late april and almost done by now,, and I have a couple super silver haze's, which went in the ground mid july and are nowhere near done. Could this mean that the earlier you plant the faster it starts to flower in the same light cycle? What do you guys think?

you just planted late so its getting done late. doesnt work the other way around. it will just start and finish when its naturaly done dependeing on the strain.

No, it doesn't matter when you put it out. My sativas were started in April and put out the start of June and they still aint done. My brother had the exact same strain and started at least a month later and put them outside
later too. He harvested 3 weeks ago, so....

It wont work because your going by the sun/seasons time frame. Plants flower at a specific time of year when the seasons change. It dont go by when you plant lol.

I know that but it just seems that a plant with a longer veg time flowers faster. Maybe cause it more mature. For me at least. Steampick situation is obviously different. Thanks guys.

It depends on varying factors, thinks like plenty of water/nutes and long hours in the sun can all add up and decrease the flower time.
