Planting Seeds Off My Last Harvest

I just harvested off my plant two weeks ago; i got the plant off a friend and i was wondering how long do i need to wait before i can plant the seeds that i got out of the harvest. the plant was a female and supposedly female. im new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated,

I believe that the seed should be viable once it's been properly harvested from the plant. If the seed has good normal color it should be ready to go. Got a picture of it?

the one on top looks healthier IMO but try them both, see what happens
I think at least 1 will sprout

i also have some other seeds from a totally different plant, these ones are pale green, does this mean they are duds or is it because they are from a different type of plant?

Those seeds look just fine. Different strains have different looking seeds. Some can look pale green. Just germinate them and you'll know soon enough. Good luck!

Yeah dude, I had some green/silver looking seeds that grew into bomb plants (you can see them in my grow journal, link in sig)
