Plants are light green and a bit droopy???

hi all, I’m growing 4 plants using iws flood and drain with quarter strength nutes (canna aqua vega A+ B). They are under one 600w hps light about 2.5 - 3 feet from the tops of the plants, temps are about 24-25C. They are 2 week into veg but the plants don’t seem to be growing much and they are a limey green colour?? The ph is 6.0 - 6.4. This is my first time using a flood and drain system so I’m open to any ideas why things arnt going great. Could this be something to do with the water temperature in the reservoir?? I’ve attached a couple of photos below.

How long have they been in this system? Either the roots haven't reached the nutes yet or the nutes are too weak, which is rare. Most people over fertilize.

I put them in 2 weeks ago on 1/4 strength nutes but they haven’t really grown much so I’ve upped the nutes to half strength.
 
So next question is the water hitting roots or no? Tbh it looks like they are not getting enough food or to much water n as seeing as how much u water i would say not enough food. Try rasing the water or dropping the plant down more into the res if possible.

The water fills to the top of the pebbles? I think it was a heat issue? Water too cold in reservoir and at night the temperature was only 17c until I put a heater in. What u think??
 
18.3 degrees C. is optimum solution temperature for oxygen absorption by roots. So yeah a bit cool at 17 degrees but I don't think that's your problem. I like that you raised the bites a bit. I think your problem may have to do with ph. You said your ph is at 6.0-6.4. That's too alkaline for hydro. That would explain why your plants aren't absorbing all the nutrients you are offering. If it were me I would drop my ph down to more like 5.5-5.8 and start with those 3 things. Brining solution temp to 18.3 degrees. Upping nutrients to half strength. Also dropping your ph to 5.5-5.8. I bet after 5 days they will revive, and continue vegetative growth.

I have been seeing a couple ppl saying 6 to 6.3 is optimal personally i let mine go from 5.8 to 6.1or .2 with no isues but i like to let my ph drift a bit as well.
 
You can find a more accurate chart but in a nutshell...hydro and coco:5.5-6.2 soiless mix:6.3 I don't much use enriched soil but anywhere from 6.3-6.5 i would go. Yes your hydro ph will drift by the day depending on what brand nutrients you use ect. Best to start low around 5.5 or 5.8 to give a little drift room. Don't let it climb past 6.2 in hydro, or your plants won't/can't uptake the nutrients you have provided. Certain nutrients will get "locked out".
