Is it a rule of thumb that all plants double in size when flowering or is it certian strains?

not from my experience, but i guess it depends how big they are when they begin flowering. if u got a plant thats only a foot tall ya it might triple, but sorry a 7ft plant will not triple or even double in my experience. im expecting maybe 2ft of growth on my plants that are over 5ft. they really only continue to stretch for like the first month of flowering then it slows down drastically.

Yea, not outdoor, unless they're small, a general rule that I've seen depending on strain, 12" to 24" which indoors is double and sometimes triple.

Well two footers ought to at least get 3 maybe 4. That would be cool seeing I started them Aug. 1
