Plants drooping dunno why haalp!

Organic soil
4 weeks old on monday
no notes
I guess im watering right, i havent watered them in a day or so because I didnt wanna over water and i thought maybe they were drooping because of it. Soil still seems somewhat moist so i know they arent dying of thirst.

the plants look strong to fight off whatever it is. However it can be many things that cause a plant to gloom. What stuff you using?? time release soil, your own soil, ph, tempature, nutes, etc?? more info?? Smoke One!

No idea of the ph, dont have a meter or test kit. no nutes i said, temp is like 80-85, lowes organic soil and organic peat hummus mix
 
or a inch below depending how deep the soil goes. You dont want to water everyday or every other day you want the roots to breath. just cut back on the watering and get a better light and you will be all good for now.
 
the pots do have the appearance of being dry. I acknowledge you mentioned you thought the soil was still damp feeling. But from the pics, it looks dry. Otherwise, the plants like others said ...... look great .... I would be inclined to give them a watering and see? Good luck. Walk on!~

EDIT - and in my case as well, I take the pot in my hands and squeeze it all around frimly to "loosen" the soil. This can have a consequence of a minor slowdown and delay was roothairs are torn apart and rebuilt. but the end result is good space utilization and breathing roots.

Ok ill try that maybe, i watered em until i could see the soil at the bottom getting wet, the under side of the buckets are fairly see through. If that dont work ill try crumbling the dirt. My stupid cousin packed it in when we transplanted them into the containers.
 
hey thanks for the reply. I seen you mentioned sometihng about see-thru - roots cannot tolerate ANY light .... they will die back from light. Don't know if that might be a problem? yea, packing the dirt is not a good thing. It really needs to be left a light and fluffy and airy as possible. I see people have started using straight Coco coir and perlite .... I wanna try that too. Good luck man. keep us posted with info and pics .... Walk on!!~~ :peace:

yea ... and actually .... I have now seens fellas grown only with perlit and cooccoir .... the nutes all come from their measured feedings .... its getting to be a crossover to hydro almost. providing the physical support with the supplemented addition of nutes ... I dunno ...I might try it. :joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

coco coir i learned has a ton of micro nutrients that soil will not. something like 80, I used it when i grew mushrooms cause it created great results. I dont know if the micro nutrients help plants which are very different then fungi, but it does loosen up the soil.
 
oh fuk cool ....yea I still have a brick from my last shroomy grow .... and perlit to ... so I was thinking my next plants are gonna try it out ... many thanks for your thoughts. really appreciate it all.!!:peace::peace:

I watered em a good bit last night, soaked the pots and they seem to be doin better now. We will see how it goes
 
Soaked the pots? hmm that sounds bad! lol. Remember over watering is the number one issue with most growers. I only water my plants MAYBE twice a week and I dont have a single hint of brown,yellow,droop, etc. By watering only when the soil is dry you simulate a more natural environment and when you begin to use nut's please be careful not to overdue it! Applying nutrients once a week is MORE than enough. If you ever plan on redoing your soil set-up go with Fox Farms Ocean Forest (2parts) and Perlite (1part). That combination has always treated me exceptionally.

Yeah now only the tips are droopy, i think im gonna water em daily like I have been, it seems to work best.

the soil looks heavy, when you say "organic soil" do you mean "good out door dirt"? I would use ff ocean forest.
