With 4 CFL's and a diagonal flouro tube in a box with 5 sprouts, the two older plants were started with the lights set higher up. I've moved them down, and the smaller sprouts haven't stretched at all, but the week older ones have a tendency to grow towards specific bulbs (with the slightly elongated stems giving them room to move). It is causing my plants to grow at an angle. The stretching itself isn't such a problem because I caught it in time. However I will ask if there is anything you can do about a stretched sprout.... I had one streched to bad it fell over and i just pulled it

Importantly though, what about these sprouts growing at the light and getting all angled... is my only option to get rid of my socket structure and give each plant its own individual CFL? If this is the case, how should I go about doing this?... I imagine buying single sockets and then putting them all in a power strip is foolharty and probably a fire hazard, but my fixture rigid, and kind of puts the lights in weird places all over the box (which i thought would make for good distribution). Perhaps this is only a problem when the plants are small?
