If you are old enough to live alone... you are old enough to make your OWN DECISIONS!

If you are a Male.. then MAN UP and don't let your parents have the run of the place! If they smell weed... so what you are the adult... it's your house.. .STAND YOUR GROUND and keep them in the living room!

If you are female then put on your "big girl panties" and do EXACLTY what I said above!

Bottom line... if you are an adult... then you are in control of your life... mommy and daddy are not!

Yea man, no insult... but imagine what your parents would do if their parents came over and started making decisions? That happens a lot with my family and tons of others, and every time the grandparents get chewed out with "I am not a kid anymore"

So when are you going to live by your own rules? 20? 30? 40? When will you draw the line and tell your parents DON'T SEARCH MY HOUSE!!

I don't care what they are searching for.

you respected your parents enough to get rid of the plants.
they should respect you enough to mind their business.

now... knowing that they do not respect your personal space...

1. lock all doors leading to any area you grow weed
2. build a carbon scrubber
3. start some more plants

As a parent of 4 (all in their 20's), I would never open a closed door in their homes.

When I was 21, but living with my parents, I had a pound in my closet (not for sale - just a long term supply) and evidently, according to my younger sister, my mother snooped around and found it. She never said a word. In my family's value system, one had a right to privacy in one's own room and her snooping around was a bigger sin than what she found.

BTW, the pound cost $160.00 in those days.

I would have thrown them out, waited for them to leave and re-planted them asap :)

Anywho like everyone is saying, family first. If thats how they feel about the plants and you want to respect their beliefs then ya made a good choice. Can always plant new plants.

Damn.. The cheapest I remember was when I was stationed in Florida - Marines did all guard/MP duty - they were my best connections - an lb was under 350 bux - you don't want to know how cheap everything else was!! Grin!!
