Plants possibly burning..

I think my plant is burning. It's only a couple weeks old. I haven't grown for a long time and am doing one plant to just get back into the flow. problem is that it has been nearly ten years and my "know it all" farmer partner is loooooong gone. Using HF soil with about 25% additional perlite. I haven't added anything else, but one day i did throw my banana peel into the pot. What means the colour on the leaves? i cant seem to match it directly with picture charts. should i flush? if so, how? or is there anything else i can do?

also. why is it that some leafs are curled facing up while other are doing the opposite?

PH: unknown (getting a tester in a day or so)

Thanks

Sorry about the photos, but the lighting was really bad as i am an amature in both horticulture and photography. One photo is just to give an idea of the plants age/ size. the others either show brown spots of yellow tips.

First I would say you have been overwatering. The 3rd set looks droopy, let the soil dry out and the pot gets light(er). PH is very important in any plant cultivation and the meter to measure it is equally important, so get a meter and PH adjust/monitor the soil. Your stems (peptols) on your fan leaves look red/purple and tho some strains have this color variation in their genes, it is usually an indication of magnesium deficiency. You also have an issue with calcium, and that's what is in picture 2. Calcium and magnesium go hand in hand most times. They are most commonly caused by excessive potassium that competes with ca/mg, and even tho its plentiful in the soil, its made unavailable and the potassium wins. And again PH is a big part of this hobby. A PH of 6.5 is optimal in soil because certain elements can and will only be available at there respective PH. Do some research and flood your memory bank with these PH #'s. This will educate yourself and now you can prevent a deficiency before it even shows. Learn to read your plants. And lastly don't be giving it any food for a while. Your in FFHF and it has a N-P-K (5-5-5) and has enough nutrition to last you until that's plant is 8-12" tall. It has been limed and the problem is your PH and overwatering.

I've been using distilled water simply because I already have it at the house. As for the temperature it will range from 69-80 deg.F

OK. So I will stop watering so much, but really I only give her a few sprays every time i walk by. Other than that, it only gets watered maybe once a week. I am going to buy a PH meter tomorrow (I've been busy) and will let you know the test results.
I attached two fotos with a usa quarter to understand her size. As you can see, the peptols still have a very red colour to them. The bigger leafs on top are doing well, it appears, but I am getting these yellow spots/ streaks on almost every set. The very top (one of the newest leaf) turned yellow tipped sometime this morning. What is also concerning are the wilting leaves, but especially along the main stalk. Along the main stalk it seems as if the new developments are weak and malnourished.
I know that nothing I tell you means much without PH levels so I will repost my reply in couple days when I actually have the figures.
What do you mean by "it has been limed"??
In the time being, I will cut the watering.
Also, I am boosting co2 with a homemade generator (just providing all info I have).

I will get back with you soon, if you don't mind.
Thanks for the help so far.Foto 1.jpgIMG_1724.jpg
