Im growing 7 plants in a 4x4 grow tent with a 600 watt light 300 cfm can fan. They are 4 weeks into flower My humidity got a little out of control last week. It hit 65%. I just got a dehumidifier in my room and got the humidity down to 45.

Today I pulled my plants out to clean and rotate and noticed they smelled a little musky. They started get what I thought were trich's (still pretty sure there trich's) its not powdery and doesn't brush off at all. but Im worried its mold of smoe kind. It looks nothing like powdery mold. I am worried about the smell.

Is the smell a sign of things to come? Im worried Im screwed. The plants look healthy and all though.

The smell is for sure coming from your plants? Not the pots or the rez or something else? If you get a cheepy $10 microscope from radio shack and look at the white stuff you might be able to tell. I got some kind of mold too this last humid period here in cali. Mine is like powdery mildew but only in the base of the leaves where they meet the leaf stem. I got no funky smells though other than serenade (which stinks but if it is PW, it will pretty much work). Neither of ours is typical for PW 'cuz PW goes everywhere.
