Plants stunted and sick in ffof, but exploded with growth in nectar number 4, why?

I have been haveing issues for years with my grows and have just tried everything, however the one constant has always been my medium FFOF, when transplanting I had a bag of nectar #4 that a friend gave me and the plants in the nectar exploded with growth, same water same temps same light in the same tent, why? What is different about the nectar that they love so much but hate the ocean forest? Yes I have had successful grows with ffof in the past but not for years, what is it?

So many FFOF haters. I have grown in slightly amended FFOF for years and have had nothing but healthy high yielding plants. I even use in outdoors and you can see from past posts, 8’ plants yielding 1.5 lbs per plant. I love the stuff.

Well to start, are the NPK ratios different?
