Plants To Add To My Cannabis Garden

any ideas what i should add? i have a veg and flower room. in my veg room i keep my MH on 24/7 since cannabis does not need a rest period and this way is not only faster, but makes less space between nodes. what other plants would do good is this environment? i read some plants need rest or they will die. now what about the flower room? any fruits go good on 12/12?

I bumped this because I am interested in growing other items besides medical cannibas.
I have the room and the time. I wish to put some good sized plants in the garden come May.

Cannabis needs a rest period like any other plant Any light hungry plant would benefit from your grow lights as it's plenty more than they receive indoors or in some cases outdoors. Vegetables and other herbs besides cannabis would do very well under most high intensity lights. There are things like ginseng and lilies that are obvious no's, but use your imagination; what would you normally plant in an open sunny field? What you thought of would probably do moderate to great under a good indoor grow setup.

tomatoes, peppers, eggplant.. a bunch

Catnip, sage, peppermint, spearmint, rosemary, thyme or any other herbs you would use or just like for the smell. Catnip is wicked strong smelling when it's flowering and if you have cats they will go nuts lol. =)

I have peppers, 4 kinds of lettuce, and a mix of herbs. It's nice to always have fresh salad. i keep a couple of 4' Flourescents going from September-June for salads and herbs.

It's a great idea. If you have the space and time then why not "diversify your bonds nigga", as the Gza would say. Last May I added some cucumber, tomato, cherry tomato, pepper, dill, parsley, basil, rosemary and lettuce plants to my indoor garden. Unfortunately I was running out of space and had to place all the edibles outside in the sun for the rest of the summer.

grow garlic, it helps keep pests away

i love the 600w hps for growing plants, sometimes buy packets of flowerseeds and put them in there. 24 hour light, 1 month and ive got lots of beautiful flowers to decorate the house. cheers things up. only takes up a bit of space, 3 inch pot, lol.

also growing a small palm tree in there, its only a week old but allready has leaves bigger than my hands.

also i grow bit vegetables, seems fine in 24. oh yeah, also growing tobacco. dont see any harm to any of the plants i have now going in 24.bout 10 species since my mj plants are still small. then i put most everything in a windowsill or something.

respectfully disagree. i've seen weed plants vegged under 24/7 for quite some time with no signs of slowing down. although obviously a 12/12 cycle would be needed to flower. i've never done autos but im told those dont need a rest period from start to finish. i myself do no rest period whatsoever when i veg.

Yeah I have Some Catnip, and peppers all set up to grow, originally I never had my light all set so they went outside but there was no sun so it was a fail haha so just from reading this im going to try and set em all up again. ESPECIALLY the CatNip for my brothers cat haha
