quit doing what i do.
sucks, don't it. tie then down? start pulling them down slowly. a little bit each day. let them go an extra day without water and they will wilt and soften up making it easier to bend thick stalks. once they are bent and tied down then water as usual.

its too late to tie down at this point,yield will suffer massively.
