Plants turning Yellow Toward the buttom...

Right now have three plants... 2 of which has been repotted one in a 2 gallon pot and the other in a 3 gallon...

I water every 3 days, since I am using CFL lights of course...

The plants are about 2 weeks old! I have nutes (Sensi Bloom A&B) I have no used it yet, because I am worried it will cause damage...Should I use it right now? And if so, how much for the plant in the 2 gallon pot and how much for the one in the 3 gallon plant? All of my plants are currently vegging 24 hour cycle.... I was told to get Sensi Bloom A/B instead of Sensi Grow because it works better I guess.

Last I check my ph levels and my PH is a little over 6.

Attached are pictures, any help you could give would be great. First off move your lights closer...about 4 inches above the tops of your plant

Looks like you only have the 2 cfl's...you need more lights

About your nute question...what kind of soil are you using?

I have 3 e27 converters with 6 lights installed so I'll bring them closer... Also I'm using an organic soil recommend from the local hydro shop... The top of the Sensi Bloom says I should use 4mill per gallon... Right now I have one plant in a 2 gallon pot and the other in a 1 gallon plant.

And it doesn't say if i have to use 4mill per gallon of just a, or just b... Or A and B together with water.

This could be numerous things.

I'd say possibly nute burn? But that all depends on your feeding obviously. Maybe it needs more Nitrogen? Hard to say. Though it shouldn't be a major problem to be honest with you.

I just read that you don't use nutes yet, I don't think it'd hurt to use them but don't use a lot. Just apply a light feeding as your plants may love to eat up the nitrogen. Then again I'm no professional my man, so always seek second opinions =D

Thank you for replying back Georgeisabamf, I didn't think anyone would lol. This is my 2nd try and I want to make sure I do things right... I just started using the nutes yesterday because I suspected it may be a lack of nitrogen in my plants...I'll upload pictures when I can!

Have you used any nutes at all? and when.

It looks to me that the light issue is your main issue. Then I would address the fact that the leaves look yellow but are they curled at tips burning. This could be a sign of to much nutes. If just turning yellow it might mean you need to feed the girl. She looks hungry to me but many might disagree. From the pics I would say start ferting with half strength of your veg ferts. BTW I yield top shelf 1-2oz per 2' plants and only fert once a week. I use real organics that took two years to cross over from generations of soil prep techniques passed down to the men in my family. Some fert more.

I just started using the nutes yesterday, so I know it's not the burning, the plant was turning yellow at the bottom a couple of days ago before I started using the Sensi Bloom... So I decided to use the Sensi Bloom and i'm keeping them on 24 cycle vegging...Also i lowered the lights... I have a total of 6 CFL's... Thanks Toking King for your reply, I am really appreciating all the feedback!

For sure, TheTokingKing... Since your still here can I ask you another question? As you can see they're not in 5 gallon containers yet... One is in a 2 gallon and the other is in a 3 gallon... How much water should I give them? I don't wanna drown the roots or underwater... i have an per oz measuring cup and a per mill liter measuring cup! Also I added the parts A and B sensi bloom into my 1 gallon jug of water... Just a table spoon of a and A table spoon of B.

I always wait till the soil on top feels almost like I waited to long but before leaf droop. Then I pour enough in to fill up the rest of the pot (from soil to top of pot) and repeat this action again. This usually cause a dribble out of the bottom of the pot. I dont like to water so much that it leaves a puddle. Just trial and error. A well draining soil is hard to overwater as long as you wait till it actualy needs it.

I hope this helps.

Otherwise just slowly pour water into the pot until it dribbles out bottom. I use a gallon and a half pots, I use approx. a 1/4 -1/2 gal each water. (sometimes I go ahead and water one or two a day early just because I just watered ALL the rest.)

might want to fill the pot up to the top with soil...having your lights so far away they have major stretch to them.the extra soil will help support the stem which might not be able to handle much more weight right now...and will make the stem start producing roots under the soil level...bigger stronger roots=bigger stronger plant.make sure your watering the whole pot of soil..not just around the plant.its not getting enough nutes into the plant because all your roots are where the soil is bone dry.as roots grow they stretch out fast as the soil drys in effort to find water...your roots are not going to grow if they are not getting enough water.being 2 weeks old their should be enough nutes in the soil right now...but the roots just cant get to it.throughly water your plant a couple good times before you feed them so you dont burn them thinking they needed food when all they needed was water.

Nice, thanks guys... Okay I just watered them with Aquafina water PH was at 6.0... I slowly watered until I saw water dripping from the bottom... No puddle... I will see if my plants change in appearance before giving my plant more nutes. DjRuiner may be right, my plants may just need more water... But I gave mt plants a little nutes yesterday.

So I will rewater once it dries up and feed them nutes as well.

And will do Dj, I put more soil in the pots tonight before I had watered them! Thanks you guys!
