Plants with no air circulation?????

How long can my plants be in a 4x2 tent with the tent doors closed up with out air circulating through? When my lights are on I will have my carbon filter on so the air will be circulating. I'm doing a 12/12 light from seedling and can not have my rig going while I'm not home, so how long can my plants survive with having the air circulating through my tent. Thanks in advance.

first of all why cant you have it on when ur not home?? If its room mates or parents then obviously ur hiding it.. So thyis means your gonna have to weigh out your options... air circulation and ventilation..are like top priority to having quality cannabis... you need fresh air.. too much heat WILL KILL your plants... explain more about your situation and we'll see what options can make your grow successfull.

I'm in an apartment. I'm doing 12/12 light cycle because I can not take any chances of going jail. So the twelve hours that I am away I will have my tent shut down. When I come home I'll fire up the light and carbon filter. Heat will not be a problem because no lights will be on during the 12 hours the tent is shut down. Any advice you have is appreciated. I would keep everything running but my landlord pops in every once in a while.

Man, you NEED circulation! First, your stems will be weak if there's not at least a gentle breeze making the leaves quiver a bit. Second, your plants produce oxygen and need it to be carried away from the leaves, so fresh air with more carbon dioxide can be moved in. It would be like putting a plastic bag over your head. Your plants need to breath. If nothing else, leave your tent open a little and put a small fan in there to move the air around a bit. Best of luck.

Why can't you just create a small intake and put in a cheap fan. If you're worried about being caught because u left a $15.00 house fan on you're a little to paranoid.

If heat and humidity are OK, consider supplementing CO2 instead.
