alrite so my plants have been in 12/12 all up 4 weeks. i had them on veg nutes until about 2 weeks ago ,and they were on 6500k bulbs till about 1 week ago , they have a shit load of pistils and are still growing up , do plants still gain height whilst flowering ? or just widen? should i put them into 8/16 to shock them to bud ? strain is superskunk.....cheers jake

also since i removed the 6500k bulbs 7 days ago i had put in = 2x20watt 2700k, 1x14watt 2700k"tube" and 2x27watt full spectrum lights designed for growing.thers 2 plants in a smallish closet i think they have enuff light

Are you using a timer for your lights? Make sure it's working properly. You're probably still on 18/6, or like Hidden Agenda stated, light leakage. Check the timer.

did u mean light leaking in or out ? there is none leaking out . my timer is fine. its really doing my fucking head in becuase it was ment to be harvested at chistmas now its looks like feb, could it be me turning on the lights for 1min whilst there in the dark cycle ?i heard from a grower on high with a good rep that it was fine as long as it wasnt on for like 30mins ....

You have light leaking in or flowering isn't triggered for some other reason.

you could try decreasing to 11.5 hours of light and see what happens, but honestly most plants can handle more than 12 hours of light.

I would stick with the 12/12 schedule. Don't change that.

Are you sure that your grow room is as dark as it can possibly be when the lights are off?

Are you growing an auto-flowering strain? They can take a long time to start, and also don't need 12/12.

What type of nutes are you using, what concentration? What's you EC, PPM, and pH?

Can you post some pics??

Wierd for sure.

Outdoor plants in SoCal start to flower in mid to late July when the light cycle is no where near 12/12. 12/12 usually gaurantees flower but isn't necessarily needed.

I have no clue why you're not flowering.

Autoflowering strains dont take 2 months to start flowering.

Have you ever grown an autoflower?

it's probably some sort of light getting in. EC, PPM, and pH aren't going to keep the plant from going into flower if it's otherwise healthy. that's just silly.

im growing superkunk blue chees n jack flash 5

my superskunk aint got much taller n the bluecheese n jack are about 10 inch taller now . all started at the same time

will my superskunk catch up wiht the others hight ? :leaf:

if you show us some pictures it will help, how long did you veg for? is your plant rootbound?or maybe you have nutelockout from built up salt levels from fertilizing? do you mean you only went and disturbed its dark period only once ever or have you been doing it regularly? if you want to see your girls at night go to the store and buy a green incandescent or cfl party bulb, they cost like 2 bucks. then if you wanna look at em just turn all the lights off but the green party bulb, plants are green colored because they use none of the green part of the spectrum and it basically bounces off em. it really does work.

i have disturbed them a few times maybe 4 times every week id turn the lights on whilst they where in dark period. im growing in an aerogarden res but with different lights , i dont check the ppm/ec cos i just add water when the drink the whole res which is 3.2 litres and that takes about 6 days for them to drink all that , there not autoflowers just regular superskunk strain, i vegged them for about 2-3 months.. ill post pics 2morrow although i do have them in my albums there just not close ups... thanks for the help

you are disrupting the light cycle.

you can't do this, except with green lights


Green lights aren't a pass to go play with plants during every dark cycle either, they are there for emergency situations. leave yor plants the F alone during the dark cycle.
