PLASMA light sources are on the market

It's been about 2 years since my last log on. There was talk about plasma light bulbs revolutionizing the indoor growing experience when I was last here. More light, less heat, less power consumption. It took some hunting to finally find them available to the general public. I have seen them in use in buildings and in large projectors. They're priced in line with high end 1,000 watt units, but without the cooling demand. What is your opinion?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do it, but alas no cash...

I heard a company named Luxim in silicon valley is pioneering some new designs for plant lighting. I am curious as well as LED's don't look like they will ever pan out for flowering.
