Go old school with the triple beam..you know its accurate and can readjust when it gets off, it will happen with a more expensive digital scale or any other..
You can pick up an accurate scale down to half a gram and holds a half lb really anywhere even some pawn shops

Never pay more than $10 for a scale unless it shows milligrams
The digital ones will always be off +/- up to .2 and some have difficulty registering under half a gram....this is very important when breaking down a 28 gram oz....20 sacking g's that are .1 over or under can get you hurt or bankrupt very quickly....though you won't be paying high upfront costs

I'm not a "drug dealer" but I will give away what I can and sell rarely but again, when I can...I charge my homegrown $10 gram up to $150 oz
Only to family...I have no "friends"....family thinks I have a hookup, they will snitch!..whether unintentional bragging or straight up vindictive..my own mother has ratted me out..its perfectly fine to sell your homegrown.. allowing friends and fam access to better quality herb at cheaper prices..just be careful..
Oh and if your wanting a good scale check out jewelers/ammunition scales..will pay a bit but less than a triple beam

I don't. Honestly. It's for my girlfriend, a couple of very close friends who have legit medical needs, and the odd time I'll nibble on one of my edibles (like once every few weeks).

I sense things are not going well for you and I'm truly sorry and most certainly would love to help but just not sure how to do so.
As for scales, depends on the accuracy you require... digital food scales are reasonably accurate enough for pot and fairly inexpensive, most major department stores would retail several brands/models

An oz is 28 grams. In the Oregon coastal area it's around 280 an oz at the bud shop, however I find it much cheaper and better, if I do say so myself ,to grow my own.
As an aside don't store your shit in a baggie keep it in a glass jar away from light.
