Hey, got question about changing light period for my autos. One week i work 2nd shift so i keep my lights 19/5, but i have problem other week when i work 1st shift i switch light to 17/7 bcz i go sleep early and that vents makes me crazy they buzz alot... Is that problem for autos? What can hapen?

Stress can reduce your yield. I don't know if 2 hours will stress them or not. Can you fix the noise/buzzing somehow? That would let you sleep and also keep your plants on a consistent schedule.

you gutta sacrifice for your plants... if 2hr is all you're giving up it's less then most... i've had heat waves had to sleep w/the door open for a wk or more.. it was like try'n to sleep on the sun... but my final product was worth more to me then some shitty sleep... if it's just the fan why don't make/get a muffler.. (i'm assuming it's an inline fan)

I didnt think this light changing will affect autos :wall: . Thx alot for fast respond, now i know and i'll do something with buzzing if not muffler i'll try some other fans with les noise.

my honest opinion is .........
it has no effect on the plants
a true auto is just that
it will flower under any lighting and ive tested this theory to the max the last couple years
i have a paranoia of leaving the lights on when i leave
i use no timer even on my photo runs
just tossing that out there

i sleep in the same room as my plants. i got a 6" inline can with a duct muffler in the closet. the only noise i hear is the water running along with the slight humming of the fan. its quieter than my fridge and definately the AC.

- muffler

- fan.

fan is variable, i normally use lowest setting to keep noise down.
