hi there, got a little problem with 1 of my plants, i got given these from a mate who couldnt look after them anymore, a couple of the lower leaves have browning yellow patches, on the bigger plant, ive read about the forum and it could be a magnesium problem, the biggest of the plants is 4 weeks old, it aws getting biogrow/biobizz from week 3 i think once a week,anyway,i have the plants in here now,i have them in a cupboard about 3.5 ft wide, by about 8.5 ft tall, the tempreture has been kept between 75 and 82 , ive been giving the plants 20/4 light i have a 250w lamp which im hoping someone will be able to tell me if thsi is good enough, im sure its a hps?, anyway guys i hope you can give me some info on how to fix this problem, all i have is biogrow 2ml per 1000ml? i have the light normally about 3 ft from the palnts i have a small fan, i dont seem to haev too much over heating issues,im going to TRY to attach some photos of the grow space and the plants,lights etc

any reccomendations i can do in the meantime to help the plant would be really greatful

please if im doing something wrong with the plants or anything, dont bite lol

i dont know really much about this guys,trying to save them for a mate who is AWAY at the mo...

thank you gentlemen

move yer light closer i keep my 400w 12 inches away...... lower leaves will yellow and brown for a few reasons most common is that they don't get enugh light under the canopy of the plant and is normal without seeing the plant its impossible to tell if that is the cause

how tall is the plant how old is the plant add a picture if you can

looks like a bit of nute burn bud, although ya feeding schedule sounds good, the soil it is in looks like a pre mixed soil with nutes already in such as bio bizz soil, sometimes its a bit burny but u should be ok jus feed every 3 waterings or so 1/2 strength. a 250w hps will be more than sweet for 1 plant and ya temps sound fine! have u gt air moving through the room as this will help especiallyu in flowering stage. wild guess are u a fellow welshman?

i would call that as nute burn.......... what soil are you in

i would flush it and than feed lightly on the next watering unless it is a soil that does have added nutes if that is so than just hit with water and stop feeding, do not flush with that type of soil it will just make it worse

thanks for reply sweetsmoker and tusseltussel, im not sure what sort of soil its in, i have 3 plants,a little older than first said in first post (had to ask my mates wife,she had a rogh idea) 1 just about 2 weeks old, 1 other 1 thats unidentified lol,and the biggest 1 is actally 5 weeks, i have a small fan which i have on,temps drive me crazy trying to keep it right,i always lower the plants down a little at night aswell because it gets hot in there , i cannot leave it on at night, due to the noise,i have an exit on the ceiling i had made,its about1 a 1/3 meter square,with a little netting covering the hole (which leads upto my loft),i have my loft window open a little aswelljust to make sure the heat has somewre at leat to escape,the temps are not too bad,but i cannot keep the plants to near the light as the temp goes sky high

you guys are great

@sweet

get used to picking up the pots and feeling how heavy or light they are.... light pot=need water. heavy pot = wait another day or 2..... i also pop my finger in up to the second knuckle if you feel wet wait another day

cheers guys much appretiated, thats they way ive been goin by, - by the weight of the pots etc, thanks for the advice troops,will post back if i have any changes, good or bad lol,its all a little fun for me right now,but once ic had them a while ill begin to try look after them better, im a newbie at this sort of thing,so this is jsut really a lil test run for my first shot

one thing i have to ask u guys, is - when i make my mix of biobizz i used 2ml biobizz per 1000ml water - now this is the tricky bit i dont know,should i just spray lightly on the soil wen feeding them with jsut a few sprays?, or is that full mix a watering? or at least some of it, hopefully ive explained myself right

ive been doin alot of lurking aswell because im trying to get a better understanding of this good shit, so i can do it better next time,and hope to take part in future convo's and learn from the best

take care you lot
