hi mate hows things, ive no way of testing the ph of the water as i am a little short on cash right now, just have to find my bloddy fone cable mate lol, so i can get pics up, just to let u know i am just using tap water that i have left for 24hrs at least before using, im having fun anyway sweet, my 2nd run i will be getting the best food and gadgets that i can

thnx m8, an havin fun is wat its all about, u can get an aquarium ph tester for about 6 quid, test tube an all that works fine if u cant afford a ph pen. my tap water ph is 8 as im hardwater area. are u in hard or soft there mite be someone on here who is in same area and may be able to tell u wat the ph is!! certain nutes will only be available to the plant wen the water is at the correct range. at least ya ph will be spot on everytime out of the tap lol keep it up m8 catch ya soon

cheers mate, thats cheap for the tester,thought it would have been little more expensive, im from glasgow area mate, whats the water like there any1 know? im sure sum1 said the water was about ph 7.5 up here, but i would like to here others opinions aswell...

so how often u think i should be giving them water guys?

this first run here for me is more about collecting information for my 2nd grow, i know alot more now than i did, the bit i have to work out is where i can get my plant foods from, and any other stuff i will need to get better results on my 2nd grow

yeah theres 1 or 2 places i could go bud, like to just go buy and ask no questions lol, as long as i know what im looking for it should be coo(ish) lol,i have biobizz, but the soil i had had nutrients in it,and i was told i shouldnt give it any nutes for 3 weeks untill the nutes get out the soil a little, i have a full bottle of that biobizz(biogrow), should do my next grow, ive heard miracle grow soil types can work well too, it would be idea if it did, then i could jsut buy that and that would save me asking questions, imm not sure if its a certain kind of miracle grow i have to get,if any 1 can enlighten me that be great

get some bio bizz all mix soiless soil,, instead of mg. it has more cannabis related nutes at the right levels, all u will need to do is water during veg, then if u need to add the bio nutes will work great wit it, also flowering you will prob jus need a little nutes every 3/4 waterings with a booster as well

so you say that i should give them some nutes during the flowering stage aswell, my plant is bout 3 weeks into flowering m8, its looking alright (buds) plant is a little yellowy,but it doesnt look worrying yellowy lol, bbiggest bud is about just under 1" wide, and about over 1 1/2" length (biggest bud)

ive only fed them some water when soil is really really dried out

no worrys m8 and yeah its called all mix. check out growell hydoponics.com its on there if she yellowing then she prob wants a little nutes m8 jus give her 1/4 strength feed and see how she likes it! and later on get a flowring boost and use that on like week 5/6 to help final stages. sounds like u doing well anyways do it how u feel comfy m8 these are jus pointers for u, we all find our own way in the end, catch ya soon

thats minted mate cheers for that, most of the leaves are actually dead or falling off, but the buds are still coming on so im just keeping it going loli tink my main problem through this process is my air flow my fan is a noisy bas****, so im gonna have to invest in 1 of those, im not worried about neightbours complaining cvause i know they wont, but its jsut for the respect side of it, to keep the noise minimum ect

cheers mate have followed ur advice since u posted and have been giving it some feed, light is about 10-12" away from the biggest part of the plant, buds are ok mate im quite happy that i have had some success, its not finished yet tho,just a tad over 3 weeks till im hitting the 8 week mark

do u mean half strength as in 1ml food every 1000ml water? still using biobizz, says 2ml food every 1000ml water (im sure lol), so i have a normal strength one made up and a half strength 1 mate, dont know if the buds are getting fatter , im sure they are tho lol

m8 its a pleasure to help where i can maybe u can help me one day wit something u experienced an i havent! go half strength to start and see how they react to it, if they like it then slowly up the dose every other feed or so, . its a funny stage now innit they just sit there an slowly fatten up for a few weeks but of course we dont see the diff as we poppin in every day. im there now same stage easys shud be readyish by end of month and cheese 2weeks after that, jus waiting for the final boost now catch ya soon m8

cool m8, just about all the hairs on the plant are brown now, im only on 5 weeks mate, what ya think? theres little small bits still white, but 99% of the hairs on buds are browny/red

let is know what ya think sweet m8,ill try get some pics up

thats ok mate hairs wil stay brown now till the end it dont mean owt, u will see in th last weeks some new growth with white hairs but till then not much happens, the buds jus fatten up and bang out thc put some pics up though anyways

cheers mate, ive been away a little while on holiday, the plant flowered ok, but only got my self 13 grams, but im still happy with it, its all trial and error when learning, ive got a couple clones going, will make a seperat thread on those maybe
