Please check my trichromes

image.jpeg So close to harvesting but having problems with my eyes, I'm seeing mostly cloudy trichromes. My friend says he see's a few Amber trichromes which I don't see. The picture isn't great but will try and upload better pics.

I see ambers too. The pistals are the right color. A whole plant shot would help but id say its done by the tric picture. Dont chop it till you get a whole plant photo up though..

Really I just looked again and thought I even saw some clear trichromes. I think I'm being swayed into believing it's not ready because I can see more room for bud growth plus the plant looks so alive. Will upload more pics later.

Well, let me adjust my supersonic bionic super vision to look at trichome tops in that pic first...HMMM looks like about 2 more weeks to me. Just IMHO...don't take mine or anyone else's word...chop when you think it's ready.

Update: Still no Amber trichs not really surprised and I've given up on time all together, the plant will only come down once 30% Amber trichs appear if that's tomorrow or next month I DONT CARE as I worked out I've been growing this plant since last September!!!!! It's taken awhile because of dogs fucking with my grow. Good news is I'm seeing purple leaves and lower fan leafs are starting to die.

I would love to tell you I planned the spiral buds but I didn't. If you look to the right of the plant you'll see her sister in early flowering. She's also a September baby but she had a poor transplant and got dug out by dogs and was left with 1 side branch she basically died for a week and came back to life and now she's weeks behind her sister with winter appoarching rapidly BUT she's tough.

funny to me the first pics look more days in flower then this pic^. the pops between the two main colas, make the plant look young(er)

if I saw the last pic, I would have guessed much longer time.

That's a bug - I zoomed it......Besides, you don't get "high" on Phloem sap!

What strain?

Sativa's can be slow to finish and some don't have trich's that amber well.....If it starts to foxtail, it's telling you it's done at this point.
Otherwise hold out for 15 - 20% amber on Sativa's...

Can't find my mag glass anywhere but think I'm seeing cloudy start to turn Amber, what do you see?

To me that looks 100% cloudy with a chance of rain lol.

Note to newbies when checking for trichromes check all kolas and bud sites.

This was taken last sat I reckon I'm in for a bid week of swelling I bloody hope so as the trichromes on this kola is looking very close to start turning image.jpeg

This is from 16th April, as you see the kola has swelled up abit but not enough for my liking image.jpeg

Thanks Dr who for your input. It's a typical Swazi strain we get in South Africa but the commercial growers don't grow it properly in my opinion.

I'm not seeing any new pistils form out of the kolas so I don't think it's going foxtail I've never experienced it with Swazi strains.

And yes I have bugs lol black ants are the latest tenants but since they arrived all the other bugs fucked off but they do get stuck in buds which is annoying actually I'm only seeing dead ones in buds now.
