Never had one in 10 years so any help would be appreciated. Seems strange it coming out of a calyx. Is this a male flower ie. hermie? Thanks.

It looks kind of like a hermie to me. Maybe you can look the plant over really well and pick the balls off and not loose the whole plant. I've never done that but my son has. I got in a big hurry and chopped and he said I should have picked them off because there were only a few.
