I have had this problem for my last few grows. I circled the problem spots with red circles in the pic.
Symptoms:
1. Starts about 3-4weeks into flowering
2. Mainly lower bigger fan leaves, but it progresses up the plant
3. Starts off as small brownish/yellowish spots (look at pic)
4. Its not one particular part on the leaf--some start in the middle, tips, anywhere on the leaf.
5. The spot keeps getting bigger till the leaf yellows or turns crispy and dies.

Grow room facts:
1. Using Advanced Nutrients 'Connoisseur' line feeding scedule (chart off the web site)
2. Using 1 gallon grow bags w/ Pro-Mix soil
3. 600w HPS coversion bulb

Let me know if you need anymore info to help diagnose. I believe this condition is screwing up my yield.

Thanks

Are you growing in a grow tent? This looks a little like what I had with my hydrohut (mine did this, then yellowed and crisped, then DIED). It could also be light stress......maybe your light is too close. Just trying to help.......

It;s quite normal for the fan leaves to turn yellow and die off during flowering, especially if it only starts after 3 or 4 weeks. Happens cause the plant starts to draw nutrients out of the leaves to feed bud growth. The fan leaves have basically done their job and are no longer required. Nothing to worry about.

^^^^^ yep... plus it looks like it "could" be just splashed nutes.. hard to tell ...as long as its not a rapid die off...if you look at some of the best looking weed the leaves look like hell... Outside plants don't seem to suffer this as much....
Luck

It could be the nute splash. Soon as I fertilze, they drain into this tray (black cement mixing container from HD). When I drain the bags, it might splash up on the leaves. Then I stick them under the light.

Its not rapid die off. It takes a while. I was just making sure that it doesn't look like a nute lock up or defeciency.

I forgot to mention, I'm on well water.

I know exactly what that is; it's lack of Iron,Potassium, and Calcium.

Yeah i agree with Twistyman, looks like a possible nute splash. Try flushing them, because its not to late in the flowering cycle to do so. And if that doesnt solve it you can always try adding more to see if it makes the problem worse/better.

I will admit, I haven't been good at checking pH on my solution. But, all that is going to change next grow. Correct me if I'm wrong for soil, your nute solution should be 6.0-6.5? For hydro 5.5-5.8?

As far as iron, K, Ca, I wouldn't think so. I followed advanced con. A&B plus all additives per the chart on the web. If anything, I could have locked it out. I thought w/Ca and Iron you would get chlorosis (yellowing)? I'm not really getting yellowing, its more like sporatic spots, then the leaf starts turning brown and crispy.

Well, in any event I harvested my girls on Wed. 16 plants. If anybody is interested in weight and pics, let me know, I will be glad to upload and share.
