Trim what? Not sure what you are talking about. Please tell us what light you are using, what kind of setup you have and what your end goal is and we will try to help you.

In short, no, don't trim. Fatter, frostier buds will be your reward.
I would, however, suggest a larger pot.

That is a very healthy looking plant you have there BTW!!

If you really want to go cheap, you can get HPS in the lighting section of your hardware store. Many streetlight type lights are either HPS or Metal Halide and can be bought for under 100$ for the bulb and ballast.

I use a little 100 watt MH and a 60 watt HPS for my vegetative area. Both were bought at Home Depot.
