Was only passing along info on coco if he chooses that way.

He could go from coco starters into soil as soon as roots are viable to transplant.

Coco has quite a big learning curve as its more like hydro with EC testing and pH correction.

They also generally have too much K in them for coco as coco generates K over time and holds on to Ca and Mg.

I think that equates to 5% Ca and 1% Mg.

You may need a little extra Mg during flowering if you use them.

BUT I'm not 100% sure the ppm equates to a percentage like I've stated.

Depends if you plan to keep with coco.

Do you have an EC or ppm meter ?

Do you have a pH meter?

Do you understand about growing with a hydroponic style method and the approach you use to determine feeding strengths etc?

Do you understand how pH influences nutrient uptake using hydro?

Can you ascertain nutrient deficiencies by looking at a leaf with symptoms?

If you answered no to most of these questions then back away from the coco and switch to a low nutrient charged soil.

For me the easiest is coco but its what I started using in the beginning of my growing journey. Near on 5 years ago.

What nute brand?

K at 210ppm is outlandishly high for coco in comparison to N for example at 0.50ppm.

I dont have a ppm meter, but i could buy one.

Yes i have a ph meter

i understand about growing with hydroponics but i dont have experience.

Yes i can ascertain nutrient deficiencies.

I had a bad experience with soil because the soil mix was too hot. I just wanna grow without too much trouble. My worry is that my seedling is on coco + perlite and i have tu decide what type of soil or method should i use. Another problem is that in my country there is not good quality soil mix, only Sunshine premix #3, #6, #8. On the other hand i have hidro substrates and hydro solutions available on a hydroponic institute. So i dont know which way i should choose.

Can you gain access to things like peat moss, vermiculite, perlite and obviously you can get coco?

I ask this because you could cut the soil mix with any or all of the above to lighten its pre-charge.

Can you get seed starting mixes?

I havent used that soil mix yet. I dont have other choice here. I could find vermiculite, peatmoss, but i dont trust in the first mix soil i bought. So, i think i wil go for sunshine #3.

There is your answer.

You can even cut the the number 3 with the number 6 when transplanting out of the seed starter for a little extra nutes.
