PLEASE HELP! cant germinate seeds.

your trying to hard i had great success by just taking a solo cup preferably black fill it with a good soil or grow medium almost to the top then soak it down with water make sure you have drain holes in the bottum or when your plant grows roots they will rot and it will die then after you soaked your soil/grow medium with water take your pinky finger and push a hole in the soil to the first knuckle then take your seed and place it in the hole make sure that the pointy end of the seed is pointed down then gently cover the seed and water every 2 to 3 days but be gentle when you water it you dont want the seed to get washed around and harmed using this method it can take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks for a seed to sprout just be patient and let nature do its thing oh and dont throw those other seeds out plant them to they may grow they may not but what could it hurt?

put seed in medium (soil, rock-wool, peat plug, etc) with pointy end down......apply water..... place in dark warm environment.......wait until it sprouts......place under light source

this has been my more successful method....I prefer rock wool, then peat plugs, then soil

I don't think you're waiting long enough. Take a really wet paper towel, fold your seeds inside loosely, and wrap it in saran wrap or put it in a ziplock, put it somewhere dark and cool, and check in 3 days. Or just plant them in some soil right under the surface and put saran wrap over the cup to lock in the moisture until they pop.

Fill a clean cup with water. Insert seeds. Seal the top with cling-film. Place in warm dark place and wait 2 days. Enjoy.

I soak my seeds in water for 24 hrs then plant in peat plugs, you've gotta have patients, I've had seeds take 6 days and even more.

agree...but at some point you got to say this seed is as dead as a door nail....how long before you toss it?

so Ive tried the cup method, nothing happened (is that spelt right) i did the between two paper plates thing and the towel just dried up (wtf?). i did that in the bag and seal tight thing still nothing. am germinating in my room, it has an ac that i run at 25 c all day. theirs no humidity in my room.

I was having trouble too but now I use a germination station. It works every time

Well thanks a lot guys I really hope this works, I haven't smoked in a week because I refuse to buy this expensive dirt weed. Btw can anyone give me any information on Ethiopian highland and if I was to breed it with anything what would be the best choice? ( I know I know am jumping the gun here, kid can't even get his seeds to germinate)

Usually after seven to eight days I call it a dud, tho I'm sure some may take longer, but to me that's my limit, bad enough I've wasted a week of possible growth.
