Hey, folks.. thanks for tuning in. It's been a ruff season for my plants so far. They were off to a great start but it's been one thing after another. At the moment, however, I'm looking for some help to identify what's going on with a couple of my plants (see: attached). Most of the photos are from one plant. However, the one labeled "B" is from a different plant and so is the photo of the leaf underside. What are my plants experiencing? Sure seems systemic. Could it have been prevented? Can I treat it? Should I worry about it a) affecting the bud and/or b) infecting additional plants? My suspicion is the plant with the worst symptoms may be destined for the burn pile. However, if I find indications on other plants but the symptoms aren't as bad, can I safely keep the plant?

Also, is what I'm seeing on the underside of that leaf related to the discolored spots? There are obviously some pests in that one photo.. recognize them? Seems like they might be young four-lined plant bugs but I can't be sure. I'd love to spray a light dose of pyrethrin, especially cuz I'm still in veg, but I'm reluctant to spray anything at the moment cuz my plants are still rebounding from one or both of a case of heat stress and/or an adverse reaction to a Dr Zyme's (citric acid) treatment.

Thanks again for taking the time to read my post. I'm curious what folks think. I've tried searching for info on the stem discoloration and I can't find a damn thing.. eager to hear everyone's thoughts. Happy gardening!
