Any chance you could post a link to them, or the catalog number? I can only find halogen ones in Argos.

uhh well cant find the number in the argos website cause the website sucks..
but uhh go halfords or homebase mate u can get even better deals in there sumtyms..

the 100w metal halide bulbs are only like $20 at home depot and u can buy a ballast "rebuild kit" for it but ive seen really cheap ballasts on some sites cant really remember where.

actually....go to google and type in "HPS light" and then click on shopping and u'll see them all come out =)...google is my friend

Bud, i know it's been a while but take what you hear onhere w a big grain of salt. EVERYONE has the "right" way of doing things but will then say you can do what you want. Blue color (6500) lights are better for veg than reddish/yellow (2300) temp ones...PLANTS WILL GROW WITH ANY LIGHT! there are some that just grow better or tighter plants than others. I have 2 of those 65's and they dont have the color temp on the base which makes it hard to tell if you have the "right" light. Use any CFL u want, it puts out lumens right? thereyago! then move them to a HID light after a month or so to flower if you have the space. i know this is late but im also trying to get help on this site and all I hear is what NOT to do or what I DO is...and it's totally different from your setup....you'll get it dude...keep on growin..and dont rely on this site for emegency help or something that is subjective to personal pref.

save up for a grow light man get an mh bulb for vegg and an hps for flowering it going to cost you like 250ish maybe less depending on how many watss you want to get but its worth it
