autos kinda blow IMO. I've never had any fun growing them--which i'll admit has only been once (freebie that i didn't select). Maybe I don't treat them right or whatever but for a plant that just really wants to grow, autos seem less vigorous and well adapted for growth. What's the big deal about doing your own photoperiod anyhow? In the back of my skull i think i remember they were created by inbreeding some ruderalis genetics that end up weakening potency too. not sure about it, i'd have to check into it.

Sorry, i started to ramble there...my main point is photos > autos always.

Just my two hits..i mean, cents...

Just for example, I have 2 autos growing in soil at this moment that are well into week 11 from seed. Both supposed to be the same strain, but we all know how that goes sometimes. One is fat, filling-out nicely, frosty with trichs starting to cloud and an odd random amber one here and there; still has a way to go. The other is just starting to flower and it's got a long way to go; maybe 6 weeks more minimum before chop, could be longer. She'll be ready when she's ready. Be patient.

Watering in a perimeter around the plant will only cause slow root growth. The roots won't chase dry medium. Best bet is a decent water and a dry back period. That way the roots will branch out and chase the moist medium lower in the pot as the top dries.

I've never had any issues starting in big pots from day one. I think it's an overplayed issue for sure. I just start in smaller pots simply so I don't have to mix much feed up and can run far less through to get decent Runoff.
You only do it when they are seedlings so they don't "swim". You water normally after about 2 weeks. But go off, king.

Ok guys so rookie mistake I been usin 1000w led in my 2x4 for 5 plants I woke up and 2 were dead
Without more details, I'd say that a 1000w LED at full power would kill 'em for sure in that size tent. But hey, I don't know. Sorry to hear.

‘Pretty sure it wasn’t a “ 1000watt “ led …. Its a common market hype about lights.
Especially a Blurple lamp like in your pics.
If anything , it is actually a 100 or so watts from wall.
What killed your plants were from something else.
