Help!!! My baby is looking pretty under the weather. Most of the leaves are curling down, with yellow marks showing up. The tips of the larger leaves curl upwards on the sides. It's growing new leaves, which is a good sign, but their tips are slightly discolored as well. I checked the ph of the soil, which seemed to be at around 6.5-7. I haven't really fed it nutes yet, aside from a light spray to the soil around the plant with half dose recommended in ph'd water. When I transferred, it appears some roots were damaged.

Temperature/Humidity is currently 78.3/66%.
Temps sit around 77-83 with 45-65% humidity roughly. HPS sits about 16"-18" away from plant. Using foxfarm ocean forest in a 5gal smart container.

I'm really worried for her, and yes I'm new at this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nute burn... Are you sure the soil doesn't have time release food? Little yellow balls? Squeeze it and liquid comes out? When in soil. Don't feed intill the plant is hungry. The roots were damaged because you burnt the roots, resulting in the leaves looking like that. Give nothing but water, those leaves are done for. You could cut the leaves, or let them die that's on you

The only thing I've been feeding it has been water, and only today, an hour ago, did I give a light spray. The leaves started turning yellow a couple days ago, so unless my soil is super concentrated (and I hear ocean forest is great for growing), then I'm not sure how I nute burned.

Should I flush it?

stop watering get a spray and water them that way, until the soil gets dry at 2" deep, such a big container only needs watering only once a week tops, especially if you have a small plant absorbing tiny amounts of water and nutes, that`s why it`s a good ideea to plant the weed in a 1 gal container tops and then transplant to a bigger one, because you can get overwatering problems very easily
hps wattage? do you have a cool tube for that hps? 18in is too close for a seedling, wait till you get the third set of leaves(without dicotyledons and next couple of leaves)
also if you have such a big container i suggest buying a MH lamp for better root development.

100% nute burn. Check luijis thread WW & dragon fruit. Youll find he had the exact same thing happen to him with those down curling leaves. Well you know that your dirt has some good nutes in it now ;) the leaves will get worse. They wont get better, theyll die off. When they start to look really bad pull them off. If some just have bad tips then just cut off the tips and save the rest of the leaf. You should be fine but like the person said earlier, 5 gallon pots are easy to over water when theres such a small plant in them so be carefull with watering. Theyll be fine, good luck :):):)

Update bump. Help very appreciated.

watered with distilled water this morning. The new leaves coming in are displaying starting signs of burns, and I've been cutting very small tips off at 45 degree angles, but it keeps popping up (at least, I think it does. The tips start turning a slight yellow color, or an off-yellow spot might form). The top leaves are still pretty green and intact, but like I said, they're showing signs. Should I take any measures to prevent anymore damage, or will the nutrients in my soil slowly level out? It also seems that it hasn't grown too much in the past couple days.
