Hi i have two female plant that im growing outdoors...they are about 30 inchs tall and get about 9 hours of direct sun light becuase of where they are..there are in pots...i want them to start flowering...how do i do this...they stay outside alll day but only 9 hours of direct sunlight....

large contractor trash bag over the top so it gets a 12hr day. But they should be flowerin soon anyway if you are in the US
can you take them indoors for 2 weels and force flower them and then move back out doors

I would think this would make the plants way to hot. Can trash bags breathe? Have you ever tried this. I would think it would be a mini oven with no air flow. At least paper could breathe.
I have read about black paper sacks over a branch. But a trash bag over a whole plant I would not do. No way. But thats just me.
