I agree. I've been using pond water for my guerilla grows for several years now. I wouldn't say it is ideal, but there isn't any moving ground water in miles of my grow. I have to say though, it isn't as green and gross looking as that pond in the background of the OP's pics, which is what I am assuming he is using.

Yeah for some reason, outdoor plants don't like being in pots. I think partly because they get too hot.
Usually the pond is very clear, it is merky and nasty right now because my bacteria colonies died, so im using Reverse osmosis water. i think its good for my plants because the algae, fish shit, oil and other living crap. ive never had a problem with the water before. Thanks for the input i think im going to go get some soil amendment & put it in the ground.

Me too, there is a filter that moves the water and aerates it, there are turtles and mosquito fish inside the pond haha. i know it looks disgusting right now because my beneficial bateria colonies died.
Mmm, now I understand. Ya, I read an article somewhere that said even water from the guy's aquarium when he changed, was mixed in with the solution he made for his organic plant food for the garden.

the leaves seem to yellow faster when plants are in containers. and what exactly is wrong with pond water? fish and other animals live there, mammals most likely drink from it. its fine. the only nastyness in any natural watersource, is the crap ppl dump in there. anyway ur transitioning into flower now, and more and more leaves will yellow faster, im also doing a container grow and lower leaves have started yellowing quite a bit faster now that flowering has begun, just up the amount ur feeding them and they should be good. idk why ppl think tap water is so much safer than pond water, imo theres unknowns in both and unless u want to send both to a lab, to see whats all in it, we wont know. just becuase ur tap is clear and smells nice, doesnt make it better
If there are mammals around to drink from it, most likely there is mammal feces in it as well. I understand what you mean about unknowns in both, but at least with tap water, you know what is NOT in it.

aquarium water is great for brewing teas.....as long as there isn't algae existing in the tank......Can't imagine that would be very good for the soil

What are you using for nitrogen?

And how much wood ash did you use?

Ashes throw your ph off easily , locking out certain nutes, or making the plants get to much nutes.

Thats my observations, could be somthing else tho , im not sure.

blood meal tea for N ,i use in very small doses like 1 tea to 10 parts water

for the ashes i did 90 grams of paper ashes in 2 liters of water let sit for a week then filter, mix about 1 part ash tea to 2-3 parts water, about every 3 weeks

these are basically exactly what is wrote here on the organic feeding thread, theyve been around for years and work well but u got to be careful

Hmmm..... maybe its the wood ash? you should add dolomite lime , it will stabilize the PH of your medium. aslo adds cal/mag

what makes you think paper ash is bad? it was plain white printer paper. but by now ive came to a conclusion that the yellowing was pH, the pot and probably genetic too. the colas and new growth are completely normal and the buds are growing, i think it was just shedding all of its old shit.

ashes mess with your ph easily.

So if you think it was PH then it was the ashes,

jus sayin. Do some reading
