Please Help Picking First LED

Hello everyone. I really need some help picking my first LED.

There are so many companies, so many models, so many choices.

I read some threads in which people use DOUBLE the recommended coverage power by using two lights in a space that the manufacturer recommends just one light. So are manufacturers coverage recommendations wrong?

I want a top-quality light to veg and flower in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 5 tent. A single light that will give the same potency as my 600-watt HPS, and decent yields as well.

Money is not a major factor, but I don't want to buy overkill.

Apache, Area 51, etc.

Than you in advice for your help.

OK,I don't understand when you say top quality and price is not a factor and then you say you don't want the two most recommended top quality panels. Then you say you want it to be equal to a 600 HPS in just over 6 sq/ft,most would tell you 50 to 60 watts of HPS a sq/ft is good, not close to 100 a sq/ft. 150 to 200 watts of quality LED should do a great job in 6 sq/ft.

Sir, in no way did I say I didn't want the top 2 quality panels. I merely mentioned Apache and Area 51. I didn't rule them out. I was mentioning them as the probable best choices. What made you think otherwise?

Why can't you just recommend a brand and model? You instead came off as condescending.

Go with a51.. for that size space. A51 is a better option... the RW150 or 2 Rw 75's or The xgs 190. any of those will work fine. Imo the RW will out perform the xgs . I think the RW will have an overall higher cri. on paper doesnt always agree with what actually happens..

From their graph, it looks like that light is on going to cover a 20" circle. So one plant. I'm not impressed.

Wasn't trying to be condescending, just couldn't make sense of it.

Thank you. I realize now that I didn't make sense. Imagine that, while smoking Herijuana?

And thanks for the additional info.

I'm a long-time MH/T5/HPS grower wanting to make a good choice on my first LED purchase. So many choices and so many different prices. But I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for", so I think I'm going with Area 51. Just trying to decide on which model for a 32"x32"x60" tent.

And BTW, I run a 600-watt HPS grow closet as well. My reference to that was just wishing the LED grow would be equal in potency to the 600-watt HPS grows I've been doing in a 3.5 x 3.5 x 8 closet.

2 a51 panels to match a 600 150 or 190 or 4 75's

I don't think you can go wrong buying a Apache Tech AT 200,Area 51 RW 150(or 2-75's) or XGS 190 or the Onyx panel for quality parts in a 2.5x2.5 tent. I have a XGS 190 thats just finishing flower and it seems to cover 2.5x3 nicely and I might get a Onyx panel to try out myself. You will be amazed at the quality of your final product with quality LED vs HPS.

I love my at200 and I'm going to buy another one. There very pricey but I think they are worth it.

sometimes I see eBay have some at120 for good prices. There are some on eBay right now. I hope someone on this site gets them.
