Please help with seedlings

First time grower (and first post). I'm having an issue with some seedlings. I'm currently using soil in a solo cup until they get to a point where I can transfer them to some 3 gallon pots. I'm using 3 105 watt (400W equivilent) 6500k CFLs for lighting and a couple of desk fans to provide circulation and an exhaust fan to make sure the air turns over about once an hour. I've been watering about ever other day which is about how long it seems to take for the soil to dry out. I've been fertilizing every other watering to make sure I dont burn them.

The problem I'm having is my two most mature plants aren't looking very well. The leaves are turning up instead of fanning out, turning yellow and are starting to feel brittle to the touch. I can actually hold the lights so I'm pretty sure it's not a heat issue. I've done lots of searching on what else could be causing the issue, but I think their is too much information out their and I couldn't figure out exactly what my issue is. I'm thinking I might have too much light? About 1200 watts worth of lumens in a 5 square foot area seems overkill, but everything Ive read seems to suggest that it's almost imposible to put too much light out with CLF's. It's possible I've overwatered, but it doesn't seem to match the symptons I've seen listed other places. I've attached some pictures hopeing that will help.

I'm hoping it's not to late to turn these guys around. 375.jpg376.jpg377.jpgThanks in advance.

Im using tap, and yes I'm letting it sit for a couple of hours to make sure the clorine evoprates. Not sure on the exact PH, but I've used the same water for my salt water aquarims before with no issue (it's just municipal water, not paticular.

go buy a couple of gallons of Poland springs distilled and skip the fert altogether for now.... $2 investment and I bet you see them perk up... assuming your soil isnt FIRE...lol

Well seedlins don't need any fertilizers until they have 4 full serrated leaves...or 2 nodes...so nothin at all til then

When was the last watering? I think flushing would benefit the plants...hold off the fert for a bit. Let's see how they look in a week without it.

tap H20 is ok but is it filtered through a water softener?

A water softener will add salt and that is not good for your grow.

Hey bud. Curious. How is the grow coming along? From the literature ive been reading it seems that fert was added to early. Hope it all works out.
