I've done outdoor for 2 years now and I've had major success BUT I want to switch over to indoors. I was thinking of running an indoor gorilla grow tent (10x10) with the height extension in my garage.
Questions:
1.) I want to run 9 large plants (or more if possible) under 2 1000w Blackdog LEDs would that be enough?
2.) I have a budget of $15,000 and my list is written down like shown below am I missing something or do I have absolutely NO CLUE what I'm getting myself into please help!!!

LIST:
Grow tent - $1,500
LED Lights- $5000
Hyperfan 10- $250
AC unit - $600
Regular rotating fans - $150
Inline fan - $400
Ducting- $100
Dehumidifier - $350
Moving rail - $2,600
Pots - $100
Nutrients - $200
Temp control/Lighting pad- $50
Nets - $50
CO2 enhancer - $100

I'm no expert but I'm willing to bet you could spend less than what you have on that list.
Also, you don't have seeds on the list.

Why 5K on LEDs right up front?
First off would be what LEDs?
If they ain't COB, they ain't worth wasting money on!

Why not start with 4 1K HID's and upgrade later as you gain cash, and you don't need light rails! Big cooling hoods and you don't need 8 inch cooling lines for only 2 lights inline (your going to run 2 lines). 6 inch is quite fine! That will save on fan cost's.
Your going to want an exhaust fan to pull the old air out and bring in new. this should cycle every hour for at least twice the cft of the tent vs. the cfm of the fan. You want 5 timers and you should by an extra of each type. So 2 digital's (exhaust) and 5 analogs (lighting). Now as far as Ballasts go. Buy a name brand that has a 5 year warranty but, don't buy them on claims that they do better or add something others don't or have "extra" something. DO buy a spare for those too!
A quick word on bulbs. FUCK the big $, big name brands with all sorts of claims! I use cheap plantmax bulbs from www.1000bulbs.com and I buy by the case! These do everything the other guys do and for far, far less money!
The money you save this way - will allow for the things you missed on the list that you won't see/need till you set up.

At this point skip the gas....More expensive then you think! Like by over 1K to do it right and that's still a pain....

Good luck

The reason I wanted to run LED's is because I heard it's cheaper than running any other lighting system. So I what you mean by gas is forget the CO2 right? Thanks man huge help

If you haven't built or bought anything yet and your goal is high indoor yields you should check out what they are doing in the verticle growing section, also maybe check out some diy cob systems if you are dead st on led you may find some better options than just plug and go for the money you are looking to drop

Yes - Co2 - "forget about it" (in a Brooklyn accent) At least till you have the built up cash to play if you like. You won't "need" it!

I understand about the LEDs. But, like I said - unless you build your own latest up to date COBs - What you'll spend on operating 4 1K's is going to be less then you think...

P.S. The other thing about LEDs is that whats hot today is old news 6 months from now. Advancements in LED tech are moving at a fast pace!
