I am a medical patient in WA and I started growing in order to access the full benefit and potential of my medicine! I would love some help!


I am about to start my second grow. I want to make sure that I have my setup good to go before I germinate my seeds! Can anybody give me some advice or opinions on this setup? I will be using a 48"x24"x60" grow tent and I want to grow 2 plants at a time. ANY ADVICE OR A POINT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You could probably fit another plant in there if you wanted more. Have you decided on your growing medium/nutrients yet?

Looks like a good light for the setup.

I think you're going to find that 5' tent too short to work well with that type of hood and the 4x2' space is awkward for that light as well.

You will lose at minimum a foot of grow space with that hood in there, another foot at minimum for grow pots so the remaining 3', if that, will make it tight for getting decent yields unless you use various methods to train the plants with ScroG being on I would recommend.

Because it's only 2' deep you will have very intense light in the center 2' and much lower light levels at the ends of the tent. Very hard to fit a carbon filter in there as well tho that can be mounted outside the tent.

A 3x3x6' or 4x4x6' tent would work a lot better if you haven't bought one yet and a hood like this one would be better if you have.

If you already have the tent then two 400s might work better. Run one when the plants are smaller then fire up the other when they fill the tent.

Lots of options makes it hard to choose.

I don't have the tent yet. I have decided on a 48"x48"x80" tent instead! Do you think this is big enough? How many plants could I put under a 600W HID and still have a great yield?
