just curious as to if any of these are bad signs and what to do to fix it. My plants have been growing very slow and some of the little ones just are not doing much of anything at all and i has been quite a while... starting to feel they won't get any bigger. Any tips or any idea? Half of them are a good size now and got big compared the little ones that are not doing anything. They were all started at the same time. Most the leafes are looking good but here are some pictures of some that have problems and wanna take care of it before it gets bad if it is a problem.

I use fox farms ocean forest soil, i give them 18 hours of light on and 6 off. 2 1000watt lights for 13 plants. I water every 3 days and most the time i use some fox farms grow big and big bloom as schedule says. I have a fan to circulate the air in my tent

I think you’re over fertilizing. You have several different nutrient related things going on. Those plants are young, FFOF soil should have plenty of nutrients for them through veg. Then you are adding full strength amounts of liquid nutrients.

What is the EC (or ppm and scale) of the nutrient solution you give them every 3 days?

Are the pots light when you water, or do you do it on schedule?

Also, just a point to make, those lights are not 1000w each, they are 100w +- 10%. If you only use the veg or bloom switch (don’t, run them both) it halves that. I mention it because you may need more lighting for that many plants in flower.

Not sure what you mean by EC. Thanks for the answer and good information. I do have another one of those lights and another one on the way. Should i put the 3rd light in there right now?

Lots of acronyms on this one: the strength of the nutrients in water is measured as electroconductivity, EC. Then some people use that to convert to PPM, parts per million. You can test with a cheap TDS (total dissolved solids) meter from Amazon, they are like $15 USD.

This measures how strong your nutrient solution after you mix it up. Most nutrient manufacturers recommend too high and It burns plants. I suspect that’s what you’re seeing here, nutrient buildup in the soil from adding fertilizer on top of fertilizer.

I would water with RO water only for the next couple of weeks, to significant runoff each time, and then let it dry down well between watering.

You can definitely throw the third light in there now, I don’t think lighting is your issue, but it definitely won’t hurt them to get some more watts thrown their way.

Your plants don’t look too bad, by the way, good on you for spying the leaf issues early.

Okay thankyou. Any idea why some of them are this big and some are small... they were all started at the same time... so confused. Some just stayed small and have not grown much at all and the other ones are just taking off and a decent size.
